Ev needs to be congratulated for meeting me on the track two days in a row! Big Up to ya, keep up the good work. Now, one of those, "did I really see what I thought I saw?" moments. Answer: Yup, I did. Right after seeing a runner drink from the fountain we spied a man who'd just left the dog run with his great big pooch, let the dog drink from the SAME FOUNTAIN the runner used!!! EEEWWW, how disgusting is that? Listen all you pet owners out there, the water fountains in the parks ARE FOR PEOPLE!!! In New York during the summer, there is ALWAYS an open fire hydrant nearby, a neighborhood deli or a bodega, get your pet a drink ANYPLACE other than where the humans get theirs, now I know how the expression dog breath got started. LOL Okay a little levity here to break the tension I feel growing in the room. Thanks for letting me rant.
