After the depiction in today's cartoon editorial, there is no earthly and certainly no heavenly reason for that rag scandal sheet to stay in operation. I say we must sustain the indignation and shut them down! How dare they make such a comparison and not so veiled suggestion?! Send your emails to the editor at: letters@nypost.com. I just did.
Here is the Call to Action:
Tomorrow, Thursday, February 19, 2009, at 12 noon, PROTEST in front of the offices of the NY Pus 1211 Avenue of the Americas (between 47th and 48th Streets)
Don't just talk about it, BE about it!

Stimulated!

Happy Black History Month! Question of the Day: Who is Jean Baptiste Du Sable?
Thanks, President Obama, for signing the Recovery Bill into law. I will sure feel stimulated to have more cash in my take-home check. I also appreciate knowing the hard working forgotten class will get a break. Now how do we or what do we do to help to next person? I believe we are all supposed to serve in some capacity. What is it that I am supposed to do? What are you supposed to do? Wherever I can be of service to assist my fellow human, to uplift and uphold, I am there. I believe our children are so important in shaping our future world, I give my service willingly to help shape them into well-rounded, life-long learners.
On another note, Thanks Big Daddy! What a great time we had at the 70's Soul Jam Concert, Sunday night. Can't wait to hang out with the other old foggies like ourselves again for the next show. Ooooh whee, I must say everyone looked sharp as tacks. We were a good looking crowd and the performers looked like they came to put on a show.
Answer to The Question of the Day: Du Sable founded the city of Chicago in 1803, operated a trading post on BOTH sides of the Chicago River, was a furrier and a dairy farmer. He built the first housing in that city.
