I received a text message today from a young lady who is my "daughter." No, I didn't give birth to her, but I have known her for a few years and I have mentored her to the best of my ability. She is a college graduate, self assured, vibrant, smart, and she loves God. To paraphrase her text, it went something like this, "I stopped telling God how big my storm is and instead I told the storm how big my GOD is!!!" Isn't that awesome? Thanks, Baby Girl, I love you and wish only great things to happen in your life. If trouble should try to come your way, (and it will), never forget who your are but more importantly WHOSE you are. He will NEVER fail you and He will always keep you. To all who need a word, you just got it. Better still, pass it on to someone else, you'll never know who you will help. As soon as I passed the text on, my girlfriend texted RIGHT BACK and said that was EXACTLY what she needed at that moment. We serve a MIGHTY, MIGHTY God.
