Dedicated to the memory of Sean Bell...Respect
Something was wrong with the site, and I couldn't sign in to post. So much has happened, so much has gone on. One day left before vacation. Can you say Hallelujah? It was a very productive school term, but, I am glad it is over. I am getting too old to keep doing this, but it is extremely rewarding. I certainly hope and pray the children have a rewarding. productive and safe summer. The expereinces they had during the school year should continue during the summer. With such a happening city we live, there are abundant activiities which to partake. Get up, get out and do something, anything...just do it!

Yep, tomorrow's the last day, and while I'm happy to have some me time, I'm going to miss my little ones. They remind me of my youth, and allow me to be the carefree spirit that I am. Yesterday, although it was hot as heck, we played help tag, and had a blast, and today, when I had some time with them, we danced to our favorite songs for the last time. I'm truly a lucky woman... I've learned to appreciate the simple things in life...
New york is a wonderful place to live. There are numerous things to do and places to go on just about every corner, and when my friend and I venture out, we ALWAYS have a memorable time getting into one thing or another. Last summer, we got together a few days before the start of the school year to find some trouble to get into. Our travels brough us to Central Park, where played in the sprinklers, met some interesting people, and afterwards, stumbled into a pizza parlor for dinner. At the end of the night, we wound up conversing with the employees, having a couple of brews, and having an all around good time... And it all started with us taking a walk in N.Y. So, take a day or two to take a walk in this great city in which we live... you never know what you'll find.
